Ferdos Maleki Bio
Since her earliest years Ferdos (a Persian name that means “Paradise”) was fascinated by the creative process and was naturally drawn to the arts. Her grandmother, who raised her on the Caspian cost of Iran, would tell her stories, which she would bring to life in her paintings.
What emanates from her hand is harmonious beauty. Colors that layer a voice of an emerging abstractionist, captivating the viewer to enjoy her work of texture and tones that mimic nature’s wonderment.
She delivers a display on canvas showing a defining depth for the new interpreted landscape.
In addition to her art, she also teaches at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandizing, specializing in sketching, draping and pattern making.
Ferdos resides in Orange County, California with her husband David.
